Construction: Microfiber Wholesale's 18” Microfiber Dust Mop Pad is constructed from microfiber yarn sewn to a Velcro ® type hook and loop backing with a foam core. The microfiber yarn is a dense cut split microfiber in a dark green speckled color. The edges are bound with durable white polyester binding which is designed to lengthen the life of the dust mop pad. The backing firmly attaches to any of our hook and loop microfiber frames. The purpose of the foam core is to help the mop keep its shape throughout the life of the mop, even after hundreds of washings when cared for properly.

Uses:This microfiber dust mop pad is best used to mop hard surface floors with light soil. This is a great dust mop for home use; it does a fantastic job of picking up pet hair, dust and dirt. Combined with an easy to use microfiber handle and frame it’s a great way to maintain hardwood, tile and laminate floors between or before deeper cleanings with microfiber wet mops.

Method:Use this microfiber dust mop pad dry. Simply lay it on the floor and place any of our microfiber mop handle and frame combinations on the white side of the mop pad. Then, as you walk forwards or backwards through the room, work the mop side to side while twist the handle to turn the mop, almost in a figure eight motion, so the same edge of the mop is always in front. This will prevent dust and dirt from being left behind. When the mop become saturated with dust, dirt and pet hair lift the mop up and separate it from the frame. This is best done outside or over a trash can to prevent the mop from releasing the soil back onto the floor when the mop is pulled away from the frame.

More:Microfiber dust mops are superior in cleaning ability to traditional cotton dust mops for many reasons including the ability of microfiber to attract negatively charged dust particles with its positively charged fibers as well as its greater durability. Because microfiber dust mops do such a great job of cleaning the floor you may need to use more of them than you would with a conventional dust mop. A rule of thumb that we use is you need one linear inch of microfiber dust mop per 50 square feet of floor to be cleaned, so a 20” microfiber dust mop pad will be enough to clean a 1000 square foot space. Of course these numbers are just guidelines and many variables will affect the how much space a microfiber dust mop pad will clean. Microfiber dust mops are machine washable but should only be washed with other microfiber items to prevent the mop from picking up lint. When cared for properly our microfiber dust mops can still clean effectively after hundreds of washings.
