60" Microfiber Wet Mop Pad - Pack of 3

We recommend our 60" Microfiber Wet Mop Pads only if you're used to using large microfiber mop pads. Wet mop pads this large are noticeably more difficult to push across the floor. This is a result of the microfibers gripping the surface of the floor. We also recommend only using our 60" Heavy Duty Microfiber Mop Tool due to the added pressure exerted on the tool.

Construction:     Microfiber Wholesale's 60” Microfiber Wet Mop Pad is a simple and effective lint free mop pad constructed from looped polyester / polyamide blend microfiber yarn and looped polyester. The looped polyester is added to help the mop glide across the floor; too much microfiber would make it next to impossible to push across the floor. The microfiber / polyester face yarn is sewn to a hook and loop style backing with overlock stitching on the edges. Between the microfiber face yarn and the hook and loop style backing is a 3mm foam core. The purpose of the foam core is to help the microfiber mop pad keep its shape throughout the life of the pad and to store liquids (water, disinfectant, cleaner) which will help emulsify dust, dirt and grease for effective cleaning.

Uses: 60” Microfiber Wet Mop Pads are great for extra large size cleaning jobs. Ideal for mopping and deep cleaning large open areas such as gymnasiums, basketball courts, warehouses, industrial use, and much more. They’re best used in applications where maneuverability isn’t a primary concern. Be aware of the fact that microfiber wet mops this large take much more effort to push across the floor compared to smaller microfiber wet mops or microfiber dust mops of any size. That's because of the large amounts of microfibers all gripping the floor at once. Use these with our 60" heavy duty mop frames.

Method: Our 60” Microfiber Wet Mop Pads is our largest mop pad. They'll work great with just warm water but, for certain applications you may want to use the mop pad with chemical cleaners or disinfectants. Depending on the size of the job and the amount of mop pads you intend to use, you can simply wet the mop pad in the sink or you may need to use a mop bucket. Use the wet mop pad damp, not a dripping. They may also be used dry to dust. For wet mopping work backwards through the room while moving the mop side to side, twist the handle to turn the mop, almost in a figure eight motion, so the same edge of the mop is always in front. This will prevent dust and dirt from being left behind. When the mop is saturated with dust, you can either rinse them out or change them out when needed.
