I just read an article from the California Department of Public Health claiming that microfiber can help prevent work related asthma. The reason they suggest using microfiber cloths is twofold; microfiber cleans effectively with less (or no) chemicals and with microfiber instead of spraying the cleaning chemicals onto the surface to be clean you can pour the chemicals onto the towel. The fact that you no longer need to spray chemicals is huge in preventing asthma because you’re not putting the chemical into the air.
