Basketball Court Cleaning System

Basketball Court Cleaning System

We received a few calls this week from schools looking for a better way to clean basketball courts and gymnasiums. I guess it’s that time of year.

One of the coaches I spoke to was telling me that the traditional way of cleaning a basketball court was with a rope attached to a bar that has a towel on it. He said these things typically cost over $500! I couldn’t believe it, but it’s true… Sam’s Club sells one for $487.00. Wow!

I did some more digging and found another company that sells them as well as a product similar to our 36” Heavy Duty Tool with a couple of wet pads for $99. Wow again!

We sell a 36” Heavy Duty Tool for $27.24, add in a couple of 38” Microfiber Wet Pads and you’re only at $41.64… buy them in bulk and you could get them as low as $30.03. To replace that prehistoric “Clean Court Mop” that Sam’s Club sell for almost $500 I would go without 48” Heavy Duty Microfiber Tool and some 50” Microfiber Dust Pads. The tool would cost you $33.54 and the mops are $13.50 each. That’s about 10% the cost of the Sam’s Club mop and this would clean MUCH better than the cotton terry cloth towels they’re trying to pass off as a mop.

If I was a basketball coach or an athletic director of a school this is what I would use:

  1. 48” Heavy Duty Microfiber Tool + 50” Microfiber Dust Mop Pads for regular floor maintenance before basketball practices and games.
  2. 36” or 24” Heavy Duty Microfiber Mop Tool + 38” or 26” Microfiber Wet Mop Pads (used dry) to mop up sweat during games and practices.

That would be a basketball court cleaning system that would be much more effective than using cotton towels… and for a fraction of the cost.

Deep Clean Hard Floors, Effortlessly.
